The Postgraduate Programme in EducationalAdministration has as its basic mission the following:(1) to undertake research in the areas of organization,administration and evaluation in education(2) to prepare leadership personnel and researchers whounderstand the context within which educationalorganizations operate in a productive and creative way(3) to offer services to the wider educational communityin the areas of administration, management,leadership, evaluation and school effectiveness.The programme further aspires to create a landscapewhere all the various disciplines within the cognitive areaof educational administration can flourish, such aspersonnel evaluation in education, school effectiveness,organizational behaviour, programme evaluation,economics of education and productivity and total qualitymanagement.Based on the above, the primary objective of thePostgraduate Programme in Educational Administrationisto create the foundationsfor more effective organizationand administration of schools. Most courses are directlyrelated to the duties and responsibilities of bothadministrative personnel of the schools (elementary andsecondary) and administrators at the Ministry of Educationand Culture. At the same time, some of the coursesintroduce new ideas and current trends in the areascovered by the Programme. It is up to the students toacquire knowledge, new attitudes and researchcapabilities that will assist them in exercising a dynamicrole as educational leaders and researchers ofinternational reputation.All of the above are applied through a series of courses,seminars and other academic activities that revolvearound the Postgraduate Programme in EducationalAdministration.

In addition to the general requirements, candidates are

strengthen and further support their application for
admission, such as articles, research reports, academic
distinctions.
