General Objectives: 1.To provide a common body of knowledge in managing and utilizing systems development projects within a broad spectrum of business and business-related arenas. 2.To develop analytical skills to visualize complex business problems and make informed decisions on planning, initiating, organizing, and controlling the operations of the firm’s subsystems. 3.To develop and apply the principles of problem solving and critical thinking skills to model information systems solutions for business problems 4.To enhance the understanding of the business and professional responsibilities related to the use of information systems in organizations through the use of a competency-based program.
